Overview
In 2011, Sam Waley-Cohen became the first amateur jockey for 30 years to win the Cheltenham Gold Cup, doing so in a record time. For Sam horse racing is a hobby, he does it in his spare time, he isn't paid to it. He does it simply for the love of it. This is the story of when the amateur became the champion.
