Overview
The film reconstructs with rigorous simplicity the last hours of Benito Mussolini and Clara Petacci, from the attempt to escape to Switzerland to the capture, their last night and shooting. Though production was completed in 1949/1950, the Mussolini estate prevented the film's release until interest in the production dwindled and it is now presumed lost.
