"Sea rescue on behalf of the church"

Overview

The council chairman of the Evangelical Church Heinrich Bedford-Strohm stands on deck of the new ship "Sea Watch 4". It is February 2020. The church man is standing by the side of sea rescue workers on the 61-meter-long research ship, which is now to be given a new purpose. This ship is to be rebuilt in the name of the Evangelical Church and will soon save refugees from drowning in the Mediterranean. Afterwards, the refugees are to be brought to a safe haven, as the initiators of the new alliance "United4rescue" want, which is supported by many social groups in addition to the Protestant Church.
