Overview
Originally aired November 25, 1994, the Friday after thanksgiving, Michael Eisner introduced the special evening or world-class ice skates including Olympic champions all performing to classic Disney lyrics and melodies. Skates include Ekaterina Gordeeva as Cinderella, Sergei Grinkov as Prince Charming. Nancy Kerrigan and Marina Klimova as the Stepsisters with Katarina Witt as the stepmother. Performing various parts: Scott Hamiton, Sergei Ponomarenko, Maia Usova, Alexander Zhulin, Michelle Kwan, Paul Wylie and Yuko Sato. The show was taped on a soundstage at Paramount Studios, where an ice rink was built especially for the production. The set included a reproduction of the Team Disney Building and the fan-shaped gate at the Disney Studios. Directed by Steve Binder.
