Overview
To address the low birth rate and national stability, the government enacts a bill that requires every adult to donate sperm or eggs on a regular basis. Yeonhee is under the legal age, so gets involved in an illegal, surrogate egg market to pay off her debt. With cinematic imagination, the film explores how the next generation has to pay the debts of the previous generation. Notably, the protest sequence rings true in the present day. (BAEK Jaeho)
